Do not schedule this procedure within one week prior to a water vacation.

Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, fish oil or vitamin E 3 days prior to procedure unless medically necessary.
General Pre Advice
Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, you are advised not to make social plans on the day of your treatment.
It is best to arrive to your appointment not wearing any make-up (when applicable) but if that's not possible, please be aware that in order to ensure we choose the right color pigment, we may need to remove any foundation or concealer you are wearing to see the true undertone of your skin. You may choose to bring your own makeup to touch-up after your procedure.
Do not take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 2 days prior to and after your enhancement.
Do not discontinue any medication before consulting your doctor.
No alcohol for a minimum of 2 days prior to and after your enhancement. Migration can occur from thinning of blood.
Do not use Retin A skincare products close to the area to be treated 1 month prior your procedure.
Avoid professional chemical peels close to the procedure area 1 month prior to your procedure.
Please be aware that the National Blood Service does not accept donations of blood for 4 months after a permanent cosmetic enhancement.
We cannot carryout treatments if pregnant or nursing.
Do not bleach your brows, use tanning lotions/sunbeds or sunbathe for a minimum of 2 weeks before treatment. If you are very tanned this will be difficult to determine the right colour pigment!
Plan for after your treatment- No excessive sweating for 7 days, salt water or chlorinated pools for 4 weeks and retinol products do not use in between the first treatment and top up session. You will receive full after care instructions during your session.
Please plan to arrive on time at GIVE GOOD FACE (no earlier than 10 minutes). You will need to complete an informed consent and medical history form. We want to make sure you have time to make yourself comfortable before the start of your appointment. Please give yourself extra time for parking. If you are late it will compromise the amount of time the artist/practitioner has to spend on your procedure, which in turn may compromise number of sessions needed.
In the event that a client is more than 15 minutes late, the procedure may be cancelled and any payments made will be lost.
Please be aware that having a procedure done while on your menstrual cycle can make you hyper-sensitive at the procedure site.
Scalp / SMP Pre-Procedure
You must shave your hair with a machine or hair trimmer to its minimum length no longer than 24 hours before your first session (with the exception of cases of addition of density SMP. If in doubt please contact us). Please do not use a razor or wet shave. The practitioner must be able to see your existing hair shaved to its minimum length. We do not shave client's hairs at the premises and this must be arranged by the client prior to the appointment. Improperly shaven hair might affect achieving your desired your SMP results.
Make sure you start moisturising your Scalp with a quality skin moisturiser cream at least 2 times a day for at least 7 days prior to your first session. This will highly improve the quality of your results as well as how fast the sessions progress.
Although it is not necessary to take time off work while having your treatment, beware that for the first few days after each session you will be asked not to cover your scalp (i.e. wearing hats). If you have a job that requires you to wear hats, please inform the practitioner prior to your sessi
Eyebrows Microblading Pre-Procedure
Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, and colouring your brows for two weeks prior to the procedure. This will allow your technician the most flexibility to achieve optimal results.
Lip Blush / Colour Correction Pre-Procedure
It is very important that your lips are very hydrated on the day your session. Dry lips will be very difficult to work with and results will likely be poor due to low pigment retention. This may cause the need for extra sessions to be booked. In order to achieve the best results, gently exfoliate your lips at least 1 week prior to your session, using a gentle lips exfoliator. Do this only one time. Then moisturise your lips at least 3 times a day, 7 days prior to your session, using a quality lip moisturiser of your preference. This is of extreme importance for the success of your results.
If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex) and are scheduling a lip enhancement we advise you to consult with your Doctor/GP and request oral medication for cold sores prescribed by your GP to be taken several days before your scheduled appointment which is an effective way of preventing an outbreak. Permanent cosmetic enhancements do not cause cold sores, however if you carry the virus, it lays dormant in the nervous system and can be aroused by the infusion process.
IPL laser hair removal around the mouth should be carried out no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
Waxing and bleaching treatments should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
Electrolysis treatments should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
Dermal fillers in the lip should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure and 4 weeks after.
Possible Risk & Complications
WHILE YOUR SKIN HEALS POST-PROCEDURE, BE PREPARED FOR THE COLOR INTENSITY OF YOUR PROCEDURE TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER, SHARPER, BRIGHTER, OR DARKER than what is expected for the final outcome. This is a normal and expected result of the application and healing process. The healing process will take a number of days to complete, depending on how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates and new skin regrows to take its place.
Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may swell slightly or redden, some clients feel it best not to make social plans for a day or two following any procedure.
Possible Risks, or complications:
Pain: There can be a certain amount of discomfort or pain however this should be completely tolerable.
Possible side effects: Minor and temporary bleeding, bruising and swelling. This should dissipate within 1- 5 days. Some people bruise or swell more than others. Ice packs may help reduce swelling. Those who are prone to cold sores may develop one following lip procedures. Proper pre and post care will be advised.
Infection: Infection is very unusual but occasionally occur. Areas treated MUST be kept clean and only freshly cleaned hands should touch the areas. See “after care” sheet for instructions on care
Uneven Pigmentation: This can result from poor healing, infection, bleeding, skin type, or many other causes. Your Follow up appointment will likely correct any uneven appearance.
MRI: Pigments used in micropigmentation contain inert oxides, a low level magnet may be required if you need to be scanned by an MRI machine. You must inform your technician of any tattoos or cosmetic tattooing.
Anesthetics: Lidocaine/Lignocaine based creams or Ametop gels are available at all pharmacies and may be purchased by the clients and administered to themselves prior to treatment if so desired.
Asymmetry: Every effort will be made to avoid asymmetry but our facial features may not be symmetrical so adjustments may be needed during the follow up session to correct any unevenness.
Although rare, other known (potential) risks associated with micropigmentation are Scarring, Blood Poisoning(Septicaemia) or Allergic Reactions To Pigment.
Bespoke Journey
Consult. Create. Perfect.
A thorough consultation to understand each client's needs and preferences, ensuring a customised treatment that delivers natural-looking results.
We use high-quality, sterile equipment and follow strict safety guidelines to ensure a safe, comfortable experience. Treatments typically last 1.5 to 3 hours.
A top-up session 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment is recommended to achieve the desired colour and shape, ensuring long-lasting, quality results.
Over time, colour can fade due to factors such as sun exposure or skincare products. A colour booster can help refresh the look of the semi-permanent makeup.
